Mycro Sportsgear is the biggest supplier of hurling helmets in Ireland. Inter-county players wanted a lighter helmet; this design was the solution.

The helmet was tested and approved by the National Irish Safety Standard for Hurling Helmets – I.S.355. Not only does it conform to the standard but because of the design, material and foam padding selection it is light and comfortable.

Nearly twenty years after development it is still the number one choice for players from county to underage level.
