Background
Miravex is a spin-off from Trinity College Dublin, specialising in the areas of optics and image analysis.
Antera 3D™ is an innovative imaging device for the analysis of skin conditions and is targeted at dermatologists, aesthetic doctors and plastic surgeons. The product is based on advanced optical technology, which allows the view of skin in two- and three-dimensions as well as multi-spectral analysis of the epidermis and dermis. A scan can read skin roughness, wrinkles depth, degree of sun damage and redness.
Design Approach
Ergonomics, aesthetics, and stringent technical and engineering constraints were key in the design of this product. The design process resulted in a unique sleek design, where function and form sit side by side. Boxclever conceptualised, styled, engineered, sourced suppliers and managed the initial production setup.
